CANNING IS FUN

I have been on a kick canning for the last two weeks. Peaches, pears, peach and pear apple jam, salsa and chunky applesauce. It's been a lot of fun and I've purchased a lot of jars off of craigslist.com and even bought a water bath canner. It's such a fun process. Next I want to can meaty, veggie speghetti sauce and soups. I'm excited to have canned goods to go into my nice big new air conditioned pantry. It will be fun.

Waiting to Close

So the house only appraised for $130,00 and all the repairs costs plus purchase price come out to be $143,000. So we are asking them to lower the price again. We are praying hard, and they may since we should them that the AC which is a $4k expense is not working properly. Hopefully we hear back from them Monday or Tuesday so we can start planning.
