My garden is growing so much and it's producing lots. I love gardening so much and feel very thankful that I've got room to do it. It feels so good to harvest and the next minute put it in your dinner to eat.

I love living in Arizona for the things I can grow and when!

Going Green and Saving Money

Well we've done a lot to go green and save money.

Bought a

Solar Water Heater
Using a line to dry clothes
KVAR unit which recyles unused electricity
Starting to use a solar oven
Cloth Diapers
Energy Star dishwasher
Cameran is riding the bus w/a free pass from work

We have a large Garden with Kale, Spinach, cucumbers, radishes, carrots, green onions, cantelope, watermelon, cabbage, lettuce, peppers, beans grapes and huckleberries

I love having a house!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Road trip to April's

Boys didn't take a nap that day and thankfully in rush hour traffic they slept the whole time!

Our Little Farm

We bought a Tangelo tree yesterday, we are going to plant it Monday. We have a grape vine and a Promagranet tree. We also have our garden, we also planted a huckleberry bush. I'm excited to make jams.

My Laundry room, wanted to save money and painted a boarder on and April did the vinyl lettering. This is the room I come into every day from the carport so I wanted it to be cute, it was all white and very ugly. Now it's beautiful and patriotic!

Boys Ocean bathroom, I bought the picture at goodwill and had no idea if it would fit. Lucky me!

Dinning table, criagslist and wall mirror (45lbs) cost only $12, I'm serious, craigslist is awesome.

Much advice has come from my feng shui consultant, if you have any questions ask. All furniture was bought at yard sales, craigslist and goodwill's 50% off sales.

House Warming Party

We had about 30 people at our party on Feb 6th, 2010. It was a lot of fun. We had banana splits and taught everyone about Feng Shui and cloth diapers.

We have done so much to the house to decorate so I'll post some pictures.

Gardening Time

Yesterday Joseph and I planted the garden. I'm also going to paint the kitchen again a pretty sage green color. It will look good with the white cabinets and countertops, black appliances and wood floor. A girlfriend is coming over to help me thank goodness.

We planted cabbage, spinach, zuchinni, radishes, peas, lettuce, carrots, bell peppers, green onions, watermelon, cantelope, yellow crockneck squash, squash, snap peas and brocolli. We are very excited and the horse manure that we laid down before the rain storms should really help.

Two New Jobs

I got two jobs in the past week. I'm starting to teach piano again. I have three students. Two vietamese children, 10 and 7 and a 42 african american lady.

Also, I'm starting Monday to coach softball. I'll be the assistant head coach at a charter school for high school. I am so excited, my dream job!
